Halloween is hands-down my favorite time of year, so I’m always on the hunt for a haunt that delivers real scares—and The Farm of Fears in Cartersville, GA, delivered exactly that.
From the moment you drive into the parking lot, you’re pulled into a chilling atmosphere. Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, this place feels like you’ve stepped straight into a horror movie—dark, isolated, and unsettling in the best way possible.
After picking up your ticket and number, you wait in a large open area with a great setup to keep you entertained. The pre-haunt area is alive with food trucks, carnival games, outdoor TVs, and fire pits, giving you a chance to soak up the Halloween spirit while waiting. It’s a fun, casual way to build up anticipation.
But once inside, things take a terrifying turn. The Farm of Fears is a classic horror lover’s dream, with actors who deliver intense, spine-chilling performances. There’s none of the high-tech, robotic stuff here—just raw, unsettling encounters with actors who know how to deliver a scare. It’s a slow-paced journey, where you feel truly alone, surrounded by shadows, and the fact that you don’t see any other visitors heightens that feeling of isolation.
My favorite part was definitely the corn maze. Wandering through its twists and turns, knowing something (or someone) could jump out at any moment, was nerve-wracking. And just when you think you’re making it out, Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre comes charging at you with his chainsaw. The whole scene was so well done—you genuinely feel like you’re living a horror movie moment, which, for any Halloween fan, is the ultimate experience.
This haunt is everything Halloween should be. The Farm of Fears nails that old-school horror vibe that’s so rare to find these days, making it an easy 5/5 💀💀💀💀💀.
